This should be your first stop. There are countless apps to choose from. If you are looking for something general, you can browse by categories, such as game category and app category; if you are looking for something specific, search by the key words. The Mac App store is the most comprehensive collection of apps and offers the easiest way to install them.

Relatively few people actually use the iTunes RSS Feed Generator. Apple’s page to generate specific RSS feeds is somewhat hidden. The feeds will provide the requested information automatically, keeping you up to date with latest news and content. I subscribed Mac apps to receive news of the top 10 grossing Mac apps every day. Resultantly I don’t have to spend time searching for those apps in the Mac App Store.

There is a good chance that your subscription will instantly yield you news of the new app released by the developer. For example, if you think SWF Decompiler for Mac is a really good tool for flash to HTML5 conversion, simply subscribe to the developer’s site, SourceTec Software, to keep in touch with any releases by them.

We’re mean to be raising scientists, doctors, and accountants, not stenographers. Teaching them to write so much so quickly on they can understand the resulting handwriting isn’t education.

Apple Store Has Been Robbed In Covent Garden London

While many of us have been paying tribute to man behind the iPhone, iPod and iPad, a group of bike riders decided to do the opposite. Not too long ago Apple’s new retail store in Covent Garden has been raided by a group of bikers who targeted and stole as many Mac laptops, iPads and iPhones as they could.

During all this, Robert Shoesmith, who apparently camps outside of the store waiting for the release of the company’s next iPhone handset explained the whole incident

“It’s around 1.15 am and the Apple Store in Covent Garden has just been raided! Woke up to hear a load of motorbikes zoom in and then a smash and grab.” He also added “Looks like a lot of Mac computers have been stolen with 4 motor bikes.”

He told the police that he was asleep at the time of the robery and was woken by the alarms of the Apple store and that is when he saw a couple of bikes and around 7-8 people on it stealing the goods.

Good news is that the police has already arrested two of the gang members and hopefully will get their hands on the rest.

Here’s a statement from the Metropolitan police

Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information after a smash-and-grab in central London.

Police were alerted at approx. 01.00hrs this morning (Monday 10 October) to a window broken and property taken from the Apple Store in Covent Garden.

It is believed there were around 7 moped riders / motorcyclists involved, most if not all with a pillion passenger. All persons were in full face crash helmets.

They stole iPads and other similar devices.

Shortly afterwards Islington police saw a moped and followed and attempted to stop it, but it was lost.

A moped was subsequently found abandoned in the vicinity of Wyclif Court, St John Street EC1 – officers saw two men inside the block of flats, and they were pursued on foot and apprehended within the block at approx 01.20hrs.

Some property, believed stolen from the store, was found in bags in their possession.

The men [A - 16 ys; B - 21 ys] are now in custody at a north London police station.

We’re glad Steve didn’t get to see all of this. This would probably be the last thing he would have wished to see.
