There is not a very long list for apps which let you tweak your videos with cool affects unlike how you get the rich number of apps for tweaking your photos with cool and fun affects. While looking for a good video tweaking app I came across Flare an app developed by Alaric Cole.

Flare is an iOS 4.1 or later compatible app that will work on Compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod touch (4th generation), iPad 2 Wi-Fi and iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G. This app is sized at 4.2 MB and supports English, Basque, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Serbian, Spanish and Vietnamese languages. Getting this app will cost you $2.99.

The effect in your video is not coming from just a filter as this app performs real-time shadow enhancement and gives an HDR look. Its some of many features include inducing effects live as you film and lets you focus independently of exposure for which you just need to tap then drag, however independent focus and exposure is available on devices which support focus i.e. iPhone 4 and 3Gs. You can also pinch to zoom in the video and easily lock WB, exposure and focus with a double tap.

This app lets your share full quality videos to Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Tumblr, Flickr & more. This app is also AirPlay enabled and supports 16:9 letterbox for the viewfinder. The versatility of this app lets you go from subtle, to low light enhancement, to outlandish.

The videos you shoot are in 640×360 with average frame rates of 16 on a 3Gs and 24fps on the iPhone 4. I experienced from low frame rates when I tested the app so I restarted my device which fixed everything. Great app, get it HERE for $ 2.99.
